Following Are Recaps of Recent Visits From Our Beloved Underwriters:

Greetings,

Welcome to another round of insurance page 6; following are recaps of recent visits to our hallowed manor by our carrier representatives. You’ll note we are in the midst of a major renovation with the roof representing phase three of a multi-staged project. As you can see, loss control doesn’t seem to be the best, but so far so good…we’ll keep you apprised of our progress.

Also in their own version of a rehab, our pals from AIG paid a recent visit to Connecticut to wave the flag and let us know the good news… In reality major changes and teutonic shift in underwriting appetite, higher attachment points and retention levels. Khaleedah Francis our BDM and John Roman, senior international underwriter gave us the lowdown and detailed what they can still do on the international front, which is still pretty much everything. Gremesco still retains the AIG excess and workers compensation binding portals and continues to write unique, professional, D&O, Healthcare and property risks with them. Still a factor in construction on large risks, wrap ups, projects and excess capacity for each.

Peter Buccina and Eric Kadisch from Chubb ventured up from the Philly area to update us on the ever expanding underwriting facilities at the now integrated Chubb / Ace. Gremesco utilized the micro binding authority as well as various open market facilities encompassing, professional lines, Health care, Management Liability, property and excess liability. The small business facility entertains, real estate, habitational, contractors and a vast array of classification codes as well as vacant properties, special events, liquor liability and related hospitality risks for General liability and property as well as excess.

It had been a while since we had seen our crew from Allianz and our pal Kevin Wolf. No Wolfie, but the lovely troika of Vivian Gitelson, Diana Perdomo and Lisa Cooke came by to enlighten us to all things Allianz. Representing marine, property and excess casualty, the ladies had a lot of ground to cover. In short large HPR and commercial grade property risks, the full gamut of inland marine including builders risk, contractors equipment and floater business. The marine appetite is extensive, particularly cargo where they can write virtually any commodity anywhere. The excess casualty focus surprisingly broad with lead or excess capability and capacity galore.

Amel Gana of Amtrust E&S poses with the FBOSS and the coveted Toilet Bowl trophy (actually flushes) signifying the champion for the 2016-17 Guiseppe Wannabe Fantasy Football League, # 5 for your hero. Established in 1993 the GWFFL is serious business and the trophy is kept under lock and key. The league is about to add another section to accommodate the names of future champions. BTW Amtrust writes, G.L. and Liquor liability on hospitality risks, real estate, industrial products and contractors outside of New York State. Very competitive.

That’s it for now, keep the submissions coming!
